Gymnastics Meet Logo and Theme
The state of Virginia hosts gymnastics competitions throughout the year for young men and women to meet the qualifying score to compete at this prestige State Championship event. From the logo design to award stand design, and banner design to t-shirt design, this competition has a look and feel of its own. The designs, in particular, are all inspired by the sloping mountains unique to Virginia, as well as a play on the colors of team USA. Each year, a new way to incorporate ‘VA’ with a male gymnast is presented in the logo design. Pure Gymnastics began hosting this meet in 2022.
2022
Showcasing the sloping mountains of Virginia with a play on the colors of Team USA, creating the state letters VA connected to a male gymnast that becomes an icon for the competition.
2023
Continuing to showcase the sloping mountains of Virginia and consistent colors to create brand recognition to the competition, creating a new VA connected to male gymnast as the icon for the competition.
2024
Continuing brand consistency for the competition, except focusing on the olympic year of 2024 by shaping the logo as a torch with the flame becoming the VA icon.
NEW 2025
In the general shape of the American flag, a gymnast on parallel bars swings between the stripes while continuing the color palette, font, and Virginia sloping mountains from the brand.
